In the old days, candles are prone to accidents aside from making it hard to keep its light especially in places where there is lots of wind. The most sturdily constructed types of battery hurricane lamps are those encased in a metal framework with a handle on top or on both sides. This design imitates the flame-based hurricane lantern that protects the flame from extreme weather conditions. For battery lights, however, these models come with multiple LED lights that can provide even more brilliant illumination. From a minimum of 12 up to a high 16 LED bulbs per lamp, these bright lights are great for outdoor activities as well as various emergencies where a bright source of light is crucial.
